APPROPRIATE FOR

Use in fall protection systems and work at height as a connecting element between compatible components (e.g., harness, anchorage elements, lifelines, and system accessories). Suitable as a complement in fall protection kits, for securing, and for supporting ropes or cords when the work procedure requires it.

SERVICE LIFE

The estimated service life of the connector is unlimited. The following factors may reduce the product's service life: intensive use, contact with chemicals, particularly aggressive environments, exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to ultraviolet rays, abrasion, cuts, strong impacts, or improper use and maintenance.
The mandatory annual review will validate the correct functioning of the equipment. It is mandatory for the equipment to be examined by the manufacturer or an authorized person at least once a year. In the event of a fall, the equipment must be removed from use.

USE LIMITATIONS

-The equipment must be assigned individually to a person.
-It is recommended that the anchorage point where the fall protection system will be fixed is above the user. The anchorage point must have a minimum static strength of 10 kN and must comply with the requirements of Standard EN 795.
-Personal protective equipment should not be used by individuals whose health status may affect the safety of the user under normal use conditions or in an emergency.

-Personal protective equipment should only be used by a trained and competent person in its safe use.
