A2P3 filter for gases and dust with universal thread EN 148-1.

Can be used in any class 2 mask.

FEATURES

Combined filter for gases and dust with universal thread EN 148-1, for organic gases and vapors with a boiling point above 65ºC, dusts, fumes, and mists. The filter can be used with any class 2 mask with standard EN 148-1 thread.

Particle filtration performance - “long duration” (P3 R)

The filter was tested and created in compliance with the long-duration tests prescribed in standard EN143:2000+A1:2006; therefore, it is marked with the letter R, to indicate that the filter can be used for more than one work shift.

USE LIMITATIONS

Do not use in environments where the oxygen concentration is below 17% by volume and where there are gases and/or vapors other than those specified. The filter is not valid for organic gases and/or vapors with a boiling point below 65ºC, sulfur dioxide (SO2), ammonia (NH3) and its derivatives, inorganic gases and acids, carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxide.

MATERIALS

Body: ABS Filter material: activated carbon, filter fabric, and pleated filter paper for dust.

STORAGE

Store the product at a temperature between -20°C and +50°C, with no more than 80% humidity.

WEIGHT: approx. 220 g.

PACKAGING

The filters are supplied in individual packaging: 100 x 100 x 100 mm and in boxes of 60 units: 530 x 440 x 340 mm.

EXPIRATION DATE

When stored in its original packaging, the filter has a shelf life of 6 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is marked on the filter label.

In practice, filters do not have a determined lifespan. The lifespan indicated by the standard is applicable only to laboratory tests conducted under predetermined conditions. It is common practice to replace a filter when the user perceives the smell of gas; however, not all substances have an odor threshold that allows detection before the concentration reaches dangerous levels.
