The Clean & Strip Scotch-BriteTM RolocTM disc is used to bluntly remove joint paint and oxide, door frames, drip mouldings, frames and other narrow areas. Our discs have the Roloc plug system, which facilitates and speeds up disk changes, so they are ideal for finishing processes in several steps. The disc is quickly mounted on the hook and support* which can then be mounted on machines like grinders and straight angle sanders. The discs have silicon carbide minerals and nylon fibers in non-woven material with a resin that dissolves and releases over time, so the abrasive remains active and resists heat.

Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic mineral that is usually used in low-pressure applications such as painting preparation. It breaks faster than aluminum oxide to achieve an excellent finish. Extragruous mineral (XCS) allows the removal of corrosion and unwanted stains from various substrates. It sharply eliminates the paint and oxide of joints, door frames, drip mouldings, frames and other areas of difficult access. Unwoven technology makes Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives unique. We combine strands, resin and abrasive minerals to form an open and thick mesh.

The spring-like nature of the fibers responds to the contours and allows the effective removal of the overlays, stains and contaminants while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece, thus reducing the need to repeat jobs and increasing productivity. The holes of the mesh allow the chips to escape so that the residues do not attack the mineral. Mesh fibers break continuously with the use to show new minerals and offer exceptional uniformity, superior cutting performance and extremely long service life. From aesthetic finishes to welding, disbursing, etc., Scotch-Brite abrasives operate quickly and offer uniform results, piece after piece.
