Description

777F Fabric Roll for File Belt Tool Orange (13mm x 610mm) P60 3M. Take advantage of the greater durability and cutting efficiency with the fabric strap 3M™ 777F. This band presents a mixture of ceramic abrasive grain 3M™ and aluminum oxide that outperforms aluminum oxide strips in material removal and metal finishing applications.

The heavy cloth backing supports high pressure applications, works well on heat sensitive metals and can be used dry or with lubricant.

Supply: 5 to 10 business days

CHARACTERISTICS

  • The ceramic aluminum oxide grain blend cuts faster and lasts longer than traditional aluminum oxide.
  • Produces more parts per belt than traditional aluminum oxide belts, requiring fewer belt changes.
  • The heavy polyester backing supports high pressure applications and can operate wet or dry.
  • Contains a grinding aid to reduce heat and increase performance when grinding stainless steel.
  • Durable resin bond resists heat deterioration, extending belt life

BENEFITS

Stainless Steel Deburring, Blending and Finishing
The cloth strap 3M™ 777F contains frosted aid that reduces operating temperatures when used in heat -sensitive alloys such as stainless steel, nickel alloys and cobalt alloys. The abrasive grain binds to resin support to maintain durability under high temperatures and pressures. This band is recommended to use in stainless steel or other exotic metal alloys to dimension pieces, disrupt, mix and finish molten and forged parts.

Ceramic abrasive grain increases performance
For increased performance, 777F products feature aluminum oxide mixed with ceramic abrasive grain 3M for a harder and durable abrasive. The ceramic mixture and aluminum oxide exceeds aluminum oxide abrasives in cutting and durability speed, and turns the 777F fabric band into an excellent option for moderate material elimination and surface preparation.

Size to fit your needs
These abrasive belts are available in various widths and lengths for sanding wood and metal. 3M it offers a wide selection of bands that adapt to most industrial band sanders. The wider bands are used with broadband sanders to dimension or finish the wooden panels, straight the rough edges of the metal leaves or add a grain pattern to the stainless steel leaves. The middle width bands fit the edges sanders to sand flat and narrow surfaces, such as the edges of the panels; and narrow bands are used with portable band sanders to sand or mix wooden pieces such as cabinet doors.

Find your flex
The bands come with various flexibilities and splices that join the ends of the band. The 777F fabric belt 3M™ has a film splice for added resistance to grinding in high pressure applications. When greater flexibility is needed to increase compliance or for a softer touch for finishing and blending, an L-flex provides more flexibility than standard flex, and a fullflex belt is the most flexible.
