Scotch-Brite BD-ZB 50 mm bristle disc P120 white 3M. What. The Bristle Scotch-BriteTM disc is composed of ceramic grain and molded, flexible bristles that offer greater surface contact than metal brushes and maintain their abrasive properties throughout the disc's life. Our Bristle discs allow you to remove paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, corrosion, heavy oxides and surface contaminants from large areas.

Flexible bristles require less pressure than metal brushes and adapt to contours, even on complex parts.

The spacing between the bristles is ideal for removing coatings and other substances that cause a large dent.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Bristle Scotch-BriteTM is designed to last longer than metal or other abrasive discs. Our Bristle discs work well on aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel and other metals.
• With normal use, the flexible bristles remain firmly in place to achieve the desired finish with light pressure.
• These discs contain no wire filaments, which improves safety.
• These discs 3Mtms include a mixture of ceramic aluminum oxide, a mineral designed through a process to improve grain strength and hardness, so they offer superior performance.
• The ceramic aluminum oxide mixture is designed to fracture frequently, thus outperforming aluminum oxide abrasives in both cutting power and durability.
• Ceramic abrasives are designed to cut quickly and withstand applications with intense levels of heat and stress, making them perfect for moderate to intensive material removal tasks as well as finishing applications.
• Scotch-Brite abrasives are single-surface conditioning products incorporating abrasives into a matrix of non-woven fibres.
• The combination of abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers uniform results throughout the product life.
• The open mesh material generates less heat and is resistant to embossing, which preserves the high cutting performance of abrasive minerals by reducing fiber clogging.

WHAT KIND OF WORK IS APPROPRIATE

The discs remove paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, corrosion, heavy oxides and surface contaminants from large areas.

STORAGE AND SECURITY

Store in the recommended conditions of (16-26°C / 35-50% rH) with a rotation “ first in – first out”. Temperature and humidity conditions outside these ranges should be avoided. Please consider all local safety regulations and industry standards.
