COFAN Organic Peroxides adhesive sign

Safety signalling warning of the existence of "organic peroxides" CLASE 5.2 pictogram referring to a fire/ explosion. The AD material poster consists of the pictogram at the top on a red background. It has the number 4 in the bottom corner to indicate the class of background hazard in yellow. The design of the signal may vary, but in no case will the meaning of the signal change.

It is an adhesive sign indicating that there is a fire risk due to the presence of organic peroxides. These types of signs are used in industries to alert and prevent fires or accidents related to the presence of these materials. These peroxides can be explosive and dangerous if not handled properly.

The sign can be installed indoors or outdoors and is available in two sizes: 100 x 100 mm and 300 x 300 mm .

It is important that undertakings handling such materials take appropriate safety measures to prevent fire and explosion risks.

Among the most common technical characteristics of COFAN signals are:

The signs are manufactured on a self-adhesive white gloss calendered monomeric vinyl sheet.

Color coating is applied using serigraphic techniques.

The adhesive is protected against inclement weather by a glossy transparent calendered laminate.

Description of the vehicle:

• TRANSPARENT LAMINATE GLOSSY FINISH of 0,8 mm. Transparent film of CALANDRED PVC with MONOMERIC PLASTIFICANT, free of cadmium, with UV filter.
• COLOUR COATING EPOXIDE RESINS of black, green, red, blue, yellow, orange depending on the signal type.
• SELF-ADHESIVE VINYL 0,08 mm made of white PVC resin. Back side of the adhesive.

Fused digital printable vinyl sheet calendered monomeric (80μ) white self-adhesive gloss.

Removable water-based acrylic adhesive, which allows the application to be fixed and removed under very light pressure with the fingers, and then lifted and repositioned if necessary.

COLOURED LAYER INKS

Colour coating (as required by the signal) by means of multi-use UV cured screen inks on various plastics.

These are brightly finished inks, whose mixture of compounds and radiated curing method give them excellent elasticity and reactivity, not only in overprinting but also in bending and die-cutting.

To properly place an obligation sign indicating that gloves are compulsory, it is important to ensure that it is clearly visible to people entering the work area. It is recommended to place the signal at eye level and in a place where it cannot be obstructed by other objects or signals.

MAINTENANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

In order to preserve the functionality for which the signalling systems have been designed, SEKURECO recommends that signals be kept free from dust, dirt or any residue or object that prevents their visibility and identification.

For cleaning it is advisable to use soapy solutions preferably, avoiding the use of solvents or abrasive products that may damage the surface of the signal.

The working temperature shall not exceed 45 °C. Higher temperatures may deform the support material.
