Use the Surface Conditioning SE Scotch-BriteTM RolocTM disc for intensive shaving and finishing tasks. The fibre construction of the discs is well adapted to preserve irregular or contoured surfaces and the Roloc support holds the disc to allow for blunt cutting. Open mesh fiber generates less heat and is resistant to embossing, while aluminum oxide abrasives provide a uniform finish. Aluminum oxide is a durable, tough abrasive that continuously fractures as it is used to expose new sharp cutting edges. It cuts faster and lasts longer than traditional abrasives, such as garnet, which wear quickly with use. Aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in grinding, sanding and finishing applications for its high cutting power, hardness, strength and low heat retention. It can be used on a wide variety of substrates, both in woodworking and metallurgy, including iron alloys. Scotch-Brite surface conditioning products have abrasives incorporated in synthetic or non-woven nylon fibres. The combination of abrasives and fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers uniform results throughout the product life.

The open mesh material generates less heat, which reduces the risk of fading and flapping of the piece. The fibers are embodiment-resistant and preserve the high cutting performance of abrasive minerals by limiting fiber clogging, which also extends the disc's service life. The coupling system 3M Roloc Quick Change offers a secure coupling system, even in the case of intensive applications. We offer a wide range of Roloc drives that can be easily switched between applications. The discs are color coded to facilitate identification. The discs 3M Roloc TR, TS and TSM Quick Change are smaller discs that facilitate and speed up their mounting on a Roloc hook*, making it convenient to change discs between different tasks or in multi-step finishing processes.

STORAGE AND SAFETY CONDITIONS

Store in the recommended conditions of (16-26°C / 35-50% rH) with a rotation “ first in – first out”. Temperature and humidity conditions outside these ranges should be avoided.
