Emergency Exit Sign with Right Arrow COFAN
Emergency Exit Sign luminous with right arrow COFAN

Emergency exit evacuation signal with right direction arrow is a high-quality sign that is easy to install. The sign is used to indicate buildings, auditoriums, companies, and factories to mark the areas designated for exit or evacuation.
The design of the sign may vary, but in no case will its meaning change. The sign is made with a layer of photoluminescent pigment, (after absorbing light, the product emits it in the dark, so it does not require any electrical source and can be charged an indefinite number of times).
An evacuation sign with the word "EXIT" serves to indicate the location of emergency exits in a building. These signs are essential for guiding people towards exits in case of an emergency situation, such as a fire, earthquake, or other dangerous situations.
The evacuation sign with the word "EXIT" is generally designed with large, clear letters and is often placed in strategic locations, such as near exit doors or in hallways and corridors. This allows people to quickly identify the direction they should take to safely exit the building.
In summary, evacuation signs with the word "EXIT" are fundamental for the safety of people in case of an emergency. They provide a clear and visible guide to the location of exits and help people evacuate quickly and safely from the building.

STORAGE, CLEANING, AND CONSERVATION
The working temperature should not exceed 45º C. Higher temperatures may deform the support material.
The optimal storage temperature should be between 15º C and 25º C; with a humidity of 10/50%.
Cleaning methods; avoid using abrasive products. It is recommended to clean them with water and neutral detergents.
The technical building code – Basic document on fire safety requires that photoluminescent signage must comply with UNE 23035.
In order to maintain the functionality for which the signaling systems have been designed, SEKURECO recommends keeping the signs free of dust, dirt, or any residue or object that may obstruct visibility and identification.
For cleaning, it is advisable to use soapy solutions preferably, avoiding the use of solvents or abrasive products that may damage the surface of the sign.
Photoluminescent signs should be positioned in such a way that they receive energy from a natural or artificial light source to ensure their proper functioning.
According to RD 513/2017 (TABLE III), luminous signaling systems must undergo an annual inspection/review carried out by specialized personnel from the manufacturer, a maintenance company, or by the user or owner of the installation.
Once the useful life period of the signs that make up the signaling system has elapsed, the inspection of these elements will be carried out following the guidelines set out in RD 513/2017 and UNE 23035-2
SIGN INSTALLATION
Check our blog to learn how to install a sign or poster: https://www.sekureco.eu/blog/76_consejos-de-instalacion-de-senales-de-seguridad.html
The RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION HEIGHT ranges from 2 to 2.50 meters, always maintaining a distance of 0.30 meters from the ceiling.
Photoluminescent signs should be positioned to receive energy from a natural or artificial light source to ensure their proper functioning.
The FIXING of the signaling element must be done on a firm and clean surface.
The sign can be secured using MECHANICAL ELEMENTS (screws, rivets, etc...) or ADHESIVES (mounting adhesive, glues, silicones…) carefully, avoiding soiling the visible surface or deforming it.
The EVACUATION signage must be installed in such a way that from any point likely to be occupied in the premises, an evacuation can be initiated, so it is recommended to install directional signs on all routes, intersections, stairs, etc. that serve as a pathway.
The signage on DOORS will be placed above the lintel with the appropriate label (“EXIT”, “EMERGENCY EXIT”, “NO EXIT”, ...).
The signage for FIRE protection, rescue, and/or assistance means will be carried out on the same elements to be signaled whenever possible.
