USES AND APPLICATIONS

REGULATIONS

The standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009 establishes the technical requirements for respiratory protection devices known as filtering half masks against particles (such as FFP1, FFP2, or FFP3), ensuring their effectiveness against solid and liquid aerosols. The additional designation "NR" (Non-Reusable) indicates that the equipment has been designed to be used for a single work shift (maximum 8 hours) and must be discarded after use, while the marking "D" certifies that the filter has passed the clogging test (dolomite), ensuring lower breathing resistance and a longer filter lifespan before collapsing due to dust accumulation.
