Get reliable and effective FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 respiratory protection against dust, mists, organic vapors, acid gases, ozone (nominal protection factor 10), and hydrogen fluoride with the special particulate masks from 3M™. They feature an activated carbon layer that alleviates unpleasant odors and are ideal for welding tasks or waste sorting environments. Our lightweight cup-shaped design is resistant to deformation, and the soft facial adjustment piece, nasal clip, and double straps help provide a comfortable fit for a wide variety of face shapes.

The color-coded braided bands allow for quick identification of the level of protection offered: red for FFP3 (nominal protection factor 50). They are designed to fit perfectly with 3M eye and hearing protection products.

MATERIALS

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Storage and transport The special 3MTM 9936 masks have a shelf life of 3 years. The expiration date is marked on the packaging. Before starting to use them, check that the product is within its shelf life. The product should be stored in a clean, dry place, at a temperature range of -20°C to +25°C at a relative humidity <80%. Use the original packaging to store and transport the product.

HOW TO DISPOSE OF THE PRODUCT

Contaminated products must be disposed of according to local legislation for hazardous waste.

CLEANING

If the mask is to be used for more than one shift, the sealing gasket must be cleaned at the end of each shift using 3M 105 cleaning wipes. DO NOT submerge this product in water. Store the mask in a clean, airtight container.

NORMATIVE

These products meet the requirements of the European standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, self-filtering masks for particles. These masks provide protection against solid and non-volatile liquid particles.

These products are classified according to their filtration efficiency and their inward leakage value (FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3), as well as their usage time and clogging resistance.

The tests included in this standard include filter penetration, tests after storage, flammability, breathing resistance, and inward leakage. Reusable masks must also reflect care instructions and mandatory tests for behavior after storage and clogging (the clogging test is optional for disposable masks). You can purchase a copy of the EN 149:2001 +A1:2009 standard through AENOR.
