FFP3 R D 8833SP molded mask with valve (5 pcs) 3M. Protects against low concentrations of dust and water vapors and oil derivatives commonly found in a wide variety of industrial applications and other situations where FFP3 protection is required.

Our robust cup-shaped masks offer FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 protection, and feature a soft, padded lining for lasting comfort throughout the work shift. They have a lightweight two-strap design, with a nasal clip, soft edge (in the area that contacts the face), and nose foam that help fit a wide variety of faces. 3M Advanced Electret Media (AEM) helps users breathe easily, and part of the range is available with the 3M™ Cool Flow™ valve, which reduces heat buildup for users working in hot and humid conditions.

The color-coded braided straps allow for easy identification of the level of protection offered: yellow for FFP1, red for FFP3 (nominal protection factor 50). They are designed to fit perfectly with 3M eye and hearing protection products.

REGULATIONS

These products meet the requirements of the European Standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, recently amended, for filtering facepiece respirators for use against particles. They should be used to protect the user from solid and non-volatile liquid particles only. Products are classified according to filtration efficiency and maximum total inward leakage performance (FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3), as well as ease of use and resistance to blockage. Performance testing under this standard includes filter penetration; prolonged exposure test (loading); flammability; breathing resistance; and total inward leakage. Reusable products are also subject to mandatory testing for cleaning, storage, and resistance to blockage (blocking is optional for non-reusable products).
