The series 3M SF400 and SF400X are an extension of the successful range of SecureFit protective glasses. All models of the SF400 and SF400X series consist of lenses with air frame, fixed-length pins and integrated side screens for greater protection. Patillas have 3MTM Pressure Diffusion Temple (PDT) technology, which helps distribute the pressure on the Sienes to improve the comfort of the frame in users with different sizes.

This innovative design offers greater comfort and adjustment safety. Adjustable nasal pads and soft interior part of the pins improve the comfort and adjustment of the glasses. The SF400 series includes a selection of models with increase glasses to read better or do accuracy work more easily.

It has been shown that these series of protective glasses meet the basic security and health requirements referred to in Annex II to EU 2016/45 Regulation and, therefore, have EC marking. The European Certification Service ECS GmbH, Sito at Huetfeldstrasse 50, 73430 Aalen, Germany, and with a notified body number 1883 has examined these products in the design phase. These products have been tested and have obtained the CE marking according to EN166: 2001.

USE AREAS AND IMPLEMENTATION

These products are intended to protect against high-speed and low-energy (F) particles in conditions of extreme temperatures, between -5 °C and +55 °C (T), according to EN166:2001. They also protect against UV radiation in accordance with EN170:2002 (colorless and amber lenses) and sunlights according to EN172:1994 (grey lenses, I/O and blue mirror).
