Filter 6054 K1 for ammonia and derivatives (2 pcs) 3M. The filter is suitable for half masks 3M Series 7000.

If you need respiratory protection against various gases and vapors, use the gas and vapor filters 3M™ from the 6000 series. Each filter has a color-coded band according to the EN14387 classification system to show the type of protection they offer; just choose the appropriate filter type according to your needs or the requirements of company policies. These lightweight filters combine protection with comfort and are compatible with our range of reusable half masks and full masks, allowing safe work in hazardous environments. They offer low breathing resistance and a good balance when fitted to the mask, and are designed to optimize the field of vision. They attach quickly and easily and can be used with any reusable mask 3M™ with a bayonet connection. They can also be used in combination with 3M™ 5000 series particulate filters and a 3M™ 501 filter connector to create a system that combines protection from gases, vapors, and particles.

FILTER DURABILITY

The filters used in industrial environments have a lifespan that depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and should be replaced when breathing resistance is noticed or when an odor or taste of the contaminant being exposed to is perceived. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot accurately indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the lifespan of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for their replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has been met. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is opened, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
