Motorized breathing equipment G5-01 with screen and filter G5-01/03TW, 617820 3M Speedglas. Intensive welding screen 3M Speedglas G5-01 with filter G5-01TW, the motorized breathing equipment for high altitudes 3M Adflo and a carrying bag.
The motorized breathing equipment system 3M™ Adflo™ with welding screen 3M™ Speedglas™ G5-01 provides all the benefits of our G5-01 series welding screen with our comfortable Adflo™ motorized breathing equipment system.
For workers in intensive use environments, the motorized breathing equipment 3M™ Adflo™ with the intensive use Speedglas™ G5-01 welding screen system provides high-efficiency respiratory protection against particles for welders, with a solid yet compact design featuring adjustable and ergonomic head suspension. The flip-up welding shield allows for a clear and wide-view protective visor for grinding and installation. The motorized breathing equipment 3M™ Adflo™ has a high-efficiency particle filter that can be "stacked" on an optional 3M™ Adflo™ filter (not included) for additional protection against certain vapors or a set of pads for unpleasant odors. Audible and visual alarms indicate low airflow and low battery charge. Available in two different auto-darkening lens options (VC/TW). G5 series carrying/storage bag included.

FEATURES
- Speedglas G5-01TW welding filter: dark shades 5, 8-13 variable, and practical spot welding mode. For most types of arc welding.
- This large transparent protective visor (104 x 170 mm) has a curved shape that offers excellent visibility above, below, and peripherally.
- The screen can be reconfigured with numerous available accessories to protect the head, neck, and shoulders of users.
- With the right filter type, the Adflo respirator effectively protects against particles and gases. All thanks to a single system.
BENEFITS
- The Natural Color technology allows vision with the filter to appear clearer, more detailed, and more colorful. It turns on and off automatically.
- To ensure maximum comfort for the user, the innovative duct system of the G5-01 screen allows directing airflow directly to the face, to the visor, or to an intermediate point.
- Its narrow and ergonomic design makes the product even lighter and easier to access tight spaces when welding.
- The G5-01 auto-darkening filters can connect via Bluetooth: with the 3M Connected Equipment app, users can access additional documents, features, and statistics.

NORMATIVE
EN 166:BT: This is the fundamental standard for personal eye protection.
EN 166 establishes general requirements such as optical quality, field of vision, and ignition resistance.
The B mark indicates that the protector (ocular or frame) has medium energy impact resistance (120 m/s).
The T mark (if next to B, F, or A) means that the impact resistance of high-speed particles is maintained at extreme temperatures (from −5 °C to +55 °C). A protector marked as BT guarantees robust protection against high-speed particle impacts over a wide range of temperature conditions.
EN 175:B: This standard is specific to eye and face protection equipment during welding and related techniques.
EN 175 establishes requirements for screens, masks, and welding glasses to protect against optical radiation, sparks, and splashes.
The B mark in this standard indicates, as in EN 166, medium energy impact resistance (120 m/s), ensuring that the mask or complete screen does not fracture upon the projection of solid particles.
EN 379: This standard applies exclusively to automatic filters for welding (auto-darkening filters) incorporated into welding screens.
It establishes the requirements and testing methods for these filters that change their light transmission to a predetermined lower value (or adjust automatically) when the welding arc is detected. This standard defines the four classifications seen in the filter marking (optical class, light diffusion, variations in light transmittance, and angular dependence) to ensure maximum vision quality and adequate protection against radiation.
EN 12941 TH3: This standard refers to powered filtering respiratory protective equipment (motorized) used with a helmet or hood.
EN 12941 establishes minimum performance requirements for these systems that supply filtered air to the user, ensuring positive pressure to prevent the entry of contaminants.
The TH3 classification is the highest level of protection (T for Turbo or assisted ventilation equipment; H for Hood/Helmet; 3 for performance class). Equipment marked TH3 offers a Nominal Protection Factor (FPN) of 500 (or a total inward leakage of less than or equal to 0.2%), meaning that the equipment provides excellent protection against particles and aerosols, essential for protecting the welder from metal fumes and toxic gases.
