Clear hot melt adhesive of 16 mm x 200 mm of 5 kg 3792LMQ 3M. We developed the hot melt adhesive 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 3792 as a clear adhesive with hot melt and low melt versions that effectively bond heat-sensitive materials such as wood, coated paper to furniture, upholstery, and other lightweight materials.
Supply: 5 to 10 working days
FEATURES
- Clear drying for a clean appearance.
- The open bonding time facilitates positioning and fitting.
- 3792: Clear and multifunctional for wood, fabrics, upholstery, and other lightweight materials.
- 3792LM: Low melt version for heat-sensitive surfaces such as coated paper and P.O.P. displays.
- Excellent "Go-to" adhesives for POP display, carton sealing, furniture, upholstery, and carpentry.
BENEFITS
- Its nearly instant bonding property reduces production time for POP assembly, bonding, fastening, securing, molding, panel bonding, cable sticking, grouping, sealing, encapsulating, stiffening, foam bonding, and packaging.
- We manufacture the hot melt adhesive 3M 3792 with 100% solid thermoplastic resin for use with hot melt applicators 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ LT, LT Quadrack, or EC, depending on the version.
- It is a low volatile organic compound (VOC), producing minimal odors when heated and contributing to a pleasant working environment.
- This thermoplastic adhesive has excellent electrical insulation properties, heat resistance, and thermal shock resistance, and is non-corrosive.
- About hot melt adhesives: Hot melt adhesives/glue sticks have a relatively high melting point in the range of 121 to 196 °C, depending on the formulation, and are applied with hot melt applicators, commonly referred to as hot glue guns.
- Hot melt glues provide nearly instant bonding between many plastics, papers, and woods, but when the bond is reheated, some varieties will soften and allow the bonded surfaces to separate.
- The fast bonding nature of hot melt adhesives speeds up operations in packaging and production.
- Low melt adhesives/glue sticks have a relatively low melting point that ranges between 76 and 121 °C, depending on the formulation, and are applied with low-temperature applicators, commonly referred to as hot glue guns.
- Low melt adhesives are beneficial because they can be used to bond heat-sensitive materials such as foams and a variety of plastics.
- They provide nearly instant bonding, but when the bond is reheated, some varieties will soften and allow the bonded surfaces to separate.
- The aggressive hot tack nature of low melt adhesives speeds up assembly and production operations involving lightweight metals, some plastics, and other non-fibrous materials, as well as the making of display boards, floral displays, and hobby projects.
- These adhesives are also used in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes, windows, doors, construction, transportation, electronics, and other industrial sectors, as well as in carpentry, assembly, and the making of store displays, sample panels for conventions, trophies, novelties, upholstery, furniture, audio components, and cabinets.
APPLICATIONS
Our multifunctional adhesive offers an open bond time of 40 to 50 seconds to facilitate positioning and fitting on wood, polyethylene, polypropylene, corrugated boxes, and lightweight substrates on furniture, upholstery, and novelties.
- Point of sale displays.
- Panel bonding.
- Carpentry and furniture manufacturing.
- Upholstery.
