FEATURES

• 3M offers two qualitative fit test kits: FT-10 (sweet) and FT-30 (bitter). The FT-10 uses a test solution with sodium saccharin, which produces a sweet-tasting aerosol; and the FT-30 uses denatonium benzoate, which produces a very bitter taste. Each kit contains a hood and neck assembly, two nebulizers, sensitivity solution, test solution, and detailed user instructions.
• The choice between the sweet and bitter test kit is a personal matter, although it is important to know that a small percentage of the population cannot detect saccharin, in which case the bitter test should be used.

• Used to test if the user can detect the fit test solution. There are two versions available, as a small percentage of the population cannot detect sodium saccharin, in which case the bitter solution should be used (or vice versa).
