------------------------------------------------------

In many sectors of work workers are exposed to the great danger of performing some type of activity or task at heights, which is nothing other than the possibility of falling from different heights. This makes it possible for workers not only to make use of Personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary for their particular activity, must have different elements or devices designed to protect them from a fall, elements which vary according to the circumstances and characteristics of each environment and work. It is sometimes necessary to make use of elements such as Safety bar aluminium doors and windows - EN 795 class B ref AT061, a component designed for use in all areas where it is not possible to place portable anchorages and where no fixed anchorages exist.

The Safety bar aluminium doors and windows - EN 795 class B ref AT061 is an element which is manufactured in a lightweight aluminium alloy and which is a component of fall protection equipment and a mounting device and/or portable anchorage point. This safety bar it is designed to be used on different openings (windows and doors) with a width of between 300 and 1270 mm. It is equipped with two locking plates and its dimensions are: 1415 x 150 x 100 mm . It weighs 3.2 kg, has a minimum static resistance of 12 kN and is designed to be used by only one person at a time.

With the use of this safety bar, different fall-resistant mooring elements, retractable equipment, vertical lifelines, etc. can be connected, thus enabling workers to carry out their respective jobs with maximum protection and safety, which will reduce the chances of the worker falling to different heights.

All these elements focused on the safety of workers must always be in perfect condition to ensure that workers can perform their work as safely as possible, always bearing in mind the high risk involved in working at heights of more than two metres, where a fall would lead to an accident that could have serious consequences for workers. These systems should therefore always be checked thoroughly before each use and periodically.
