APPLICATIONS

Automotive Mechanics and Component Disassembly: Used to strike and push pins or rivets (with the pin/parallel punches) to disassemble universal joints, hinges, or suspension systems, and to mark the center of a point before drilling (with the center punch).

Metal Cutting and Grooving (Cold Chisel): Flat chisels are used to cut or section sheets of metal, rods, corroded bolts, or rivet heads that cannot be cut with conventional tools, or to create grooves in soft materials.

Separation and Cleaning of Materials: Employed to separate strongly adhered or corroded parts, or to remove unwanted material (such as excess welding, hardened metal debris, or old and stuck joints) from flat surfaces in maintenance or repair work.

Precision Marking and Scribing: The center punch is essential in metallurgy for creating a small notch at the exact point where drilling should occur. This prevents the drill bit from slipping or "walking" at the start of the drilling, ensuring the accuracy of the hole.
