Fire-retardant rope with a polyester core, 11 mm in diameter, coated with aramid to protect it during welding and splashing of molten metals.

• PEP of category III
• Fire-retardant rope of 1,5 m
• Fire resistant, certified according to EN 358 point 4.1.5.
• Maximum length from guard to guard (with musket): 1,5 m.
• At one end, headgear with inner protection and thermo-sealed back. In the other case, a headguard with a quick-opening 80111 steel musket, with an aperture of 19 mm and a strength of 20 Kn.
• Made from Aramida and polyester core

LIFETIME

Reviews: The equipment must be reviewed every 12 months by an authorised person or by the manufacturer. Inspections shall be recorded on the review sheet attached to the PPE together with the instruction manual.

The maximum lifetime is 5 years from the date of first use, unless the equipment is defective or has already been used to stop a fall, in which case it must be discarded immediately.

APPLICATIONS

Valid for use as a safety cord (EN354) in welding, splashing, casting, electricians, etc. (certified fire resistant).
