Filtration unit for compressed air wall ACU03 3M. The Aircare Filtration Unit from 3M provides high-quality air from an external source of compressed air by removing water and oil droplets, solid particles, and odors.

The unit eliminates condensation and contamination from within the air system before it is delivered to the user.

REGULATIONS

• The AircareTM Filtration unit has been tested under ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 6-1. This defines the filter's performance for:
• Particles – Water vapor – Oil Class 6 (particles) defines a maximum mass concentration of < 5mg/m3
• The class ‘-‘ (water vapor) refers to the undefined class, as this parameter depends on the system's dew point
• Class 1 (oil) refers to the maximum oil concentration, 0.01 mg/m3

APPROVALS

This product has been approved by 3M United Kingdom Plc for use with 3M air-fed devices, where the applied pressure and flow rate are known.

Directive 89/686/EEC on Personal Protective Equipment does not apply to this type of device; therefore, this equipment does not have CE marking related to PPE.

LIMITATIONS OF USE

• The 3M AircareTM Filtration unit must only be used with industrial compressed air systems.
• The air feeding the equipment must be breathable quality according to EN12021 standard.
• The air entering the compressor must be free of gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other toxic substances and gases.
• The filtration unit does not reduce concentrations of oxygen, carbon monoxide, or carbon dioxide in the air.
• Do not use with asphyxiating gases.
• Do not use outside the ambient temperature range of -10oC/+50oC.
• If used in high-temperature environments (+50oC to +80oC), consult the maintenance section of the user instructions.
• Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of 10 Bar.
• Do not use in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) environments.
• Do not use in oxygen-deficient environments.
