Our discs feature a combination of redesigned fiber, resin, and silicon carbide abrasive that forms a thick, open mesh. Thanks to the spring-like behavior of the fibers, these discs can follow the contours of the workpiece more accurately, achieving a larger contact area with faster removal rates. They conform to the undulations of weld beads to polish welds without removing them, and they also allow you to work in hard-to-reach areas without damaging the substrate. Silicon carbide cuts aggressively to leave a fine finish. Burrs, stains, and unwanted contaminants are effectively removed while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece; all of this reduces the need for rework and helps increase productivity. Additionally, the mesh holes allow debris to escape, preventing abrasive clogging. To ensure consistent cutting throughout the life of the abrasive, the resin bond of the disc gradually breaks down with use to reveal new fibers and a super-sharp silicon carbide abrasive.

The high-strength fiber resists fragmentation and performs well on edges. These discs offer low vibration and sparking, high speed, and a long service life, along with the added benefit of a Roloc™ attachment. The Roloc™+ button is attached across the entire disc, enhancing strength and ease of use, and allows the disc to be operated on its edge to clean corner welds and other hard-to-reach areas. Operators can quickly attach the disc to a Roloc™ backing pad (sold separately) that connects to the power tool, minimizing setup and connection times, and helping to improve productivity.
