XT PRO Extra Cut Green XC-DR Abrasive Disc 50.8mm X Basto (60 Units) Clean & Strip 3M. The Scotch-Brite Roloc Clean and Strip XT Pro Extra Cut disc features an aluminum oxide abrasive mineral incorporated into an open nylon mesh. Our discs are designed to remove hard coatings, such as thick layers of rust or paint, and corrosion, while also homogenizing and refining the metal underneath.

Achieve greater adaptability without compromising durability when preparing metal surfaces or removing rust and paint with the Scotch-Brite Roloc Clean and Strip XT Pro Extra Cut disc.

Our discs feature a combination of redesigned fiber, resin, and aluminum oxide mineral abrasive to form a thick, open mesh. Thanks to the behavior of the fiber as springs, our discs are able to follow the contours of the workpiece more accurately, achieving a larger contact area with faster removal rates.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • They conform to the contours of the weld seams to polish the welds and allow you to work in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Aluminum oxide is a very hard mineral that offers a high cutting rate. Commonly used in high-pressure applications such as cutting and weld removal, it cuts aggressively, removing thick layers of oxide, paint, and corrosion without leaving marks, while also preparing the base material.
  • This means that a piece can be stripped and prepared for the next process in a single step, using the same disc, saving time on changing abrasives. Additionally, the holes in the mesh allow chips to escape, preventing the abrasive from clogging.
  • To ensure a consistent cut throughout the lifespan of the abrasive, the reinforced resin gradually breaks down with use to reveal new fibers and a super-sharpened aluminum oxide abrasive.
  • High-strength fiber resists fragmentation and provides low vibration, high speed, and a long lifespan.
  • These discs include the added advantage of a Roloc connection. Operators can quickly attach the disc to a Roloc™ backing pad (sold separately) that connects to the power tool, minimizing setup and connection times, and helping to improve productivity.
