Identifiable by its red and white design, with the 3M logo stamped on its backing, the Finesse-it polishing pad from 3M comes in 3 and 5-inch diameters. Achieve the best results on a variety of clear coats using the 3-inch pad when running between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 - 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher. Our 5-inch polishing pad should operate between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 and 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher.

Secure attachment for better polishing
This pad is made with the 3M Hookit attachment system for quick attachment and removal of the pad. Hookit polishing pads conveniently and securely attach to a hook and loop backing disc pad (sold separately) on rotary or random orbital tools, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be reused repeatedly throughout the pad's lifespan. Final results depend on the combination of coating type, polishing, and tools used.
