NORMATIVE

• The AircareTM Filtration unit has been tested under ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 6-1. This defines the operation of the filter to:
• Particles – Water vapor – Oil Class 6 (particles) defines a maximum mass concentration of < 5mg/m3
• The class '-' (water vapor) refers to the undefined class, since this parameter depends on the dew point of the system
• Class 1 (oil) refers to the maximum oil concentration, 0.01 mg/m3

APPROVALS

This product has been approved by 3M United Kingdom Plc for use with devices 3M fed with air, where the applied pressure and flow rate are known.

Directive 89/686/EEC on Personal Protective Equipment does not apply to this type of devices, therefore, this equipment does not have CE marking related to PPE.

LIMITATIONS OF USE

• The 3MTM AircareTM Filtration unit should only be used with industrial compressed air systems.
• The air that feeds the equipment must be of breathable quality in accordance with Standard EN12021.
• The air entering the compressor must be free of gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other toxic substances and gases.
• The filtration unit does not reduce oxygen, carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide concentrations from the air.
• Do not use with asphyxiating gases.
• Do not use outside the ambient temperature range of -10oC/ 50oC.
• If used in high temperature environments (+50oC to +80oC) consult the maintenance section of the instructions for use.
• Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of 10 Bar.
• Do not use in environments immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH).
• Do not use in oxygen-deficient environments.
