Description

Asteria is a medium-weight textured fiberglass fabric. The maximum application temperature is 550 °C, briefly up to 600 °C. Asteria is very suitable for use as a complete welding blanket. It is made with 9-micron glass yarn to provide economical yet highly effective thermal and acoustic insulation. Applications for this fabric include lining, filling, removable jackets, thermal insulation covers, welding blankets, and other fire control systems.
