CHARACTERISTICS

Unlike various synthetic materials, Vectran material is highly abrasion and heat resistant. The tensile strength index exceeds that of most other materials (28.3 kN).

Our rope combines the best of standard steel metal wires and synthetic materials like those used in belts and ropes.

Light, compact and longer This 15 m Ultra-Lok rope weighs only 5.5 kg, making it one of the lightest units in the world. Its compact dimensions offer an additional advantage when it has to be transported, stored or moved. A unique internal design allows more string to be housed in the drum and, consequently, more string to be extended and retracted. Unlike various ropes on longer, heavier belts, the locking speed of the Ultra-Lok is constant, so you should not fear involuntary locking when moving around your work area.

The DBI-SALA range Ultra-Lok stops the fall when it is supposed to and remains locked even if the structure recovers. This is an important feature when the unit is anchored to a horizontal lifeline. When stretched and then bounced, the unit will remain locked, so you don't have to worry about the brake giving out.

It also stops falls by a few centimetres and limits restraining forces to 6kN or less to ensure total safety.
