HIGH DRY WATERPROOF MEMBRANE:
Many people throughout their workday are exposed to splashes or contact with liquids. It is important, in these cases, that the footwear is capable of isolating the foot from this moisture for as long as possible.
HIGHDRY WATERPROOF is a type of inner lining in the form of a waterproof and breathable sock that is placed between the inner lining and the outer materials of the footwear. Its main function is to prevent liquids or moisture from penetrating the inside of the footwear while allowing perspiration from the inside to the outside.
It has high abrasion resistance, providing a long life to the footwear. It keeps the foot drier, preventing the proliferation of bacteria.
TEXTILE PUNCTURE-RESISTANT INSOLE:
Daily work is often performed on very aggressive surfaces or where elements that can penetrate the sole of the footwear when stepped on exist. To avoid these accidents, Paredes incorporates non-removable inner insoles made of textile material composed of multiple layers of highly resistant compacted textile fibers that offer a level of protection against punctures that far exceeds the values required by the EN 20345 standard.
Unlike classic metal insoles, Compact insoles offer protection over 100% of the footbed surface, are extremely flexible and lightweight, dielectric, and also have great resistance to high and low temperatures, additionally providing excellent thermal insulation.
All shoes that include a Compact insole are extremely flexible and lightweight, allowing safety footwear to achieve the desired levels of comfort and ergonomics.
FIBERGLASS TOECAP:
One of the most important advancements in recent years in the manufacture of safety footwear has been achieving lighter shoes. This helps make this footwear increasingly comfortable and usable during pre and post-work periods. To help achieve this goal, Paredes Seguridad incorporates fiberglass protective toecaps in most of its safety footwear. Lightweight, amagnetic, thermally insulating material, and resistant to an impact equivalent to 200 joules with a weight lower than that of steel. It guarantees greater comfort without neglecting aesthetics.
This toecap is finished with a flexible protective band that secures the toecap to the shoe to prevent it from accidentally detaching and prevents possible pressure on the foot and pain in the toes.
PHOTOLUMINESCENT TECHNOLOGY:
Some of the most dangerous jobs are those performed under low visibility conditions, whether due to being done at night or due to particular environmental conditions (smoke, dust, etc.) or specific characteristics of the location where they are carried out (underground spaces, closed places, etc.). A few moments of low visibility can trigger serious accidents.
The photoluminescent technology applied to the soles of safety footwear is a patented system by Paredes that incorporates a photoluminescent material that charges with any light it receives (natural, artificial,…) illuminating naturally when the environment darkens.
