Safety glasses 3M SecureFit 400 series consist of rimless lenses with wide, flexible temples that offer solid side protection and are widely accepted when used in combination with protective ear muffs.

The series 3M SF400 and SF400X are an extension of the successful SecureFit range of safety glasses. All SF400 and SF400X series models feature rimless lenses, fixed length temples and integrated side shields for added protection. The temples feature 3MTM Pressure Diffusion Temple (PDT) technology, which helps distribute pressure over the temples to improve the comfort of the frame for users of different sizes. This innovative design offers greater comfort and security in the fit. Adjustable nose pads and soft inner temples improve the comfort and fit of the glasses. The SF400 series includes a selection of models with magnifying lenses to make reading better or doing precision work easier.

The SF400X series features a brow bar that offers additional protection.

3MTM ScotchgardTM Anti-Fog Coating (SGAF) has been incorporated into some SF400 and SF400X series lenses to provide EN166 anti-fog (N) and anti-scratch (K) protection.

These products are intended to protect against high velocity, low energy particles (F) in extreme temperature conditions, between -5 °C and +55 °C (T), in accordance with the EN166:2001 standard. They also protect against UV radiation in accordance with standard EN170:2002 (colorless and amber lenses) and solar glare in accordance with standard EN172:1994 (gray, I/O and blue mirror lenses).
