A retention eyelet in the central back area can be used for belaying, re-belaying or rope support work. The side retention eyelets can be folded backwards. Workers whose jobs involve climbing heights may not operate without personal fall protection equipment. It is essential, for example, to have a harness that fits perfectly and is easy to use. With its Ignite Series, SKYLOTEC sets new standards in terms of comfort and ergonomics. And now the fall protection equipment manufacturer has developed a new model, the "Ignite Niob", which replaces the "ARG 62 Multi Access". The harness is the first 6-point harness in the range and is extremely versatile. It can be used, for example, by people working in steel construction or power supply, technicians in vertical rope work or emergency services. The "Ignite Niob" is certified according to EN 361 as a fall arrest system and according to EN 358 to keep workers in position and provide support in areas where there is a risk of falling. It is also EN 813 certified to keep workers seated while working hanging freely from a rope. The model also has a combined lowering and lowering eyelet in the chest area. This allows heavy loads to be abseled safely and effortlessly onto the back. The distance between the front eyelets is designed precisely for use with a Raderberger hook, which is used to rappel on accident victims. There is certainly no shortage of clever details to enhance the comfort of users of the "Ignite Niob". The newest member of the Ignite series, like all other models, features high-quality padding that conforms to the shape of the human anatomy and ensures optimal weight distribution on the hips. This is a real relief, as until now the weight was usually on the shoulders and for several hours a day. This meant that users frequently had to deal with pressure points and considerable muscle aches and strains in the neck and shoulder area. Another problem that many workers will be aware of: When on the move for long periods, the belts tend to loosen on their own. Then they have to keep squeezing them again. A new adjuster now prevents the harness from loosening during constant movement.

Another important factor is that the equipment should be as easy for workers to use as possible. That's why SKYLOTEC has chosen a cleverly designed colour system for all models in the Ignite series. Contrasting elements are used orange on the top of the harness and grey on the bottom. This makes it easy to recognize where the top and bottom of the harness are, even when the user hasn't put the harness on yet. In addition, the main anchor points on all models are bright orange so that they can be clearly labeled. In this way, accidental anchoring in incorrect eyelets or loops, which are not designed to hold in the event of a fall, can be avoided. Details like these are particularly important when people with little experience use the harness. Since they don't have a particular routine, there is an increased risk of an accident for them due to improper use of their personal fall protection equipment.
