Uvicator helmet from roulette with anti-sweat band G3000 PELTOR 3M. The 3M™ G3000 Series helmet has been designed in close collaboration with forestry and industrial workers. It is intended for use in hostile environments where effective protection, excellent ventilation capacity, and maximum possible field of vision are strictly required. Its streamlined design allows falling objects to slide off easily and prevents the helmet from shifting out of place. Its slightly rounded design, without sharp or protruding components, its extremely comfortable padding, and easy adjustment make the G3000 a unique helmet.

Use the 3M™ G3000 Series helmet designed for hostile environments. The helmets meet the requirements of the EN 397:212+A1:2012 standard with the harness turned 180° (upside down). Our helmet is available with a pin or roulette harness and a plastic or leather sweatband. It features a slightly rounded design that provides a good field of vision and helps prevent parts from snagging on wires or branches. It is available with or without ventilation holes distributed over a large part of the surface to improve air circulation, providing more comfort for the user. The shorter visor enhances visibility when looking up, and the 3M™ Uvicator™ sensor alerts when the helmet has been exposed to excessive UV radiation and when it needs to be replaced. The head harness can be rotated 180° for better visibility when working in confined spaces. The helmets meet the requirements of the EN 397:212+A1:2012 standard with the harness turned 180° (upside down), and the versions with electrical insulation comply with the EN 50365:2002 standard for use in low voltage installations.

NORMATIVE

The EN 50365 standard establishes the requirements for electrically insulating helmets used in low voltage installations (up to 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC) to protect against electric shocks, and they must also comply with the industrial helmet standard EN 397 or, for firefighter helmets, EN 443. These helmets must be free of conductive components and, if they have ventilation, it must not allow accidental contact with live parts. They are identified with a double triangle and electrical class 0.

The EN 397:2012+A1:2012 standard is a European standard that establishes safety requirements and testing methods for protective helmets used in industry against impacts, penetration, and, in some cases, lateral deformation. The addition A1:2012 indicates a modification or update of the original version from 2012, which may include changes in technical requirements or testing methods to ensure greater protection. Essentially, this standard defines the characteristics that a safety helmet must meet to be considered safe and suitable for use in high-risk work environments, which includes the ability to absorb energy, resistance to penetration, and optionally, resistance to extreme temperatures, molten metal splashes, and electrical insulation.
