  • SB: Footwear with toe protection tested at an impact of 200 J and a compressive force of 15 kN (includes oil resistant sole)
  • S1: Footwear made of leather and other materials, excluding footwear made entirely of rubber or entirely of polymer + closed seating area + SB + A + E
  • S2: S1 + WRU
  • S3: S2 + P
  • WRU: Waterproof (water penetration and absorption)
  • P: Puncture resistant mould
  • HRO: Compound of the sole resistant to contact heat at 300 °C
