Positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus Propak-Sigma-VIS (V2) 3M. The 3M™ Scott™ ProPak Sigma is a type 2 open-circuit compressed air self-contained breathing apparatus with a non-padded carrying harness.
Designed as an economical solution with minimal padding, the 3M™ Scott™ ProPak Sigma is equipment for regulatory compliance in naval or industrial firefighting environments. The ProPak Sigma breathing apparatus consists of a backplate, a non-padded carrying harness, and a pneumatic system that includes a bottle connector, pressure reducer, pressure gauge, whistle, and demand valve. Designed for user comfort with adjustable shoulder straps, a wrap-around harness, and large buckles for easy handling with gloved hands and quick donning and doffing.
THE EQUIPMENT INCLUDES
Positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus that includes a panoramic positive pressure mask Vision 3 with a toroidal screen and exterior silicone material and interior TPE+ 1 steel bottle of 6 liters at 300 bar with an approximate autonomy of 41 minutes.
The backplate is made from lightweight composite material and includes a lumbar pad. The fully adjustable body harness is made with flame-resistant Kevlar blend fabric. The buckles and connections are injection molded with corrosion-resistant polyamide. The two-stage pneumatic system includes an automatic positive pressure demand valve activated by the first breath, a first-stage pressure reducer with an integral 200/300 bar bottle connector, and a manometer mounted on the shoulder with a warning whistle at 55 bar.
