The estimated useful life of the connector is unlimited. The following factors can reduce the useful life of the product: intensive use, contact with chemicals, particularly aggressive environments, exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to ultraviolet rays, abrasion, cuts, strong impacts, or poor use and maintenance.The mandatory annual review will validate the correct operation of the equipment. It is mandatory that the equipment be examined by the manufacturer or an authorized person at least once a year. In the event that a fall has been arrested, the equipment must be removed from use.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
-The equipment must be attributed individually to a person.-It is recommended that the anchor point where the fall arrest system will be fixed be above the user. The anchor point must have a minimum static resistance of 10 kN and must comply with the requirements of Standard EN 795.
-Personal protective equipment should not be used by those people whose health status may affect the user's safety under conditions of normal use or in an emergency.
-Personal protective equipment should only be used by a person trained and competent in its safe use
