USAGE LIMITATIONS

- The equipment must be assigned individually to a person.

- It is recommended that the anchorage point where the fall protection system will be fixed is above the user. The anchorage point must have a minimum static strength of 12 kN and must comply with the requirements of Standard EN 795.

- Personal protective equipment should not be used by individuals whose health condition may affect the safety of the user under normal usage conditions or in case of emergency.

- Personal protective equipment should only be used by a trained and competent person in its safe use.

LIFESPAN

The estimated lifespan of the equipment is 11 years from the date of manufacture (1 year of storage and 10 years of use). The following factors may reduce the product's lifespan: intensive use, contact with chemicals, particularly aggressive environments, exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to ultraviolet rays, abrasion, cuts, strong impacts, or improper use and maintenance.

The mandatory annual inspection will validate the correct functioning of the equipment. It is mandatory for the equipment to be examined by the manufacturer or an authorized person at least once a year. In case of a fall arrest, the equipment must be removed from use.
