Reflective kit for vehicles (oblique stripes) COFAN

Vehicle reflex kit (oblique bands), in a package of 10 units. These oblique bands serve to improve the visibility of a vehicle on the road. These bands reflect light from other vehicles and help the driver to be seen more clearly in low-light or bad weather situations, which can reduce the risk of traffic accidents.

Vehicles which are required to use the V-2 light signal may also, on a voluntary basis, have retro-reflective markings on the vehicle contour which shall conform to the following characteristics:

(a) The badges shall be of retro-reflective material of Class 1 or 2, according to UNE-EN 12899, with alternating red and white stripes.

(b) The slope of the stripes shall be 45° above the horizontal; the minimum width of the badge shall be 140 mm; and the width of the stripes shall be 100 mm.

(c) If the strips are to be placed at the front and rear of the vehicles, they shall be in a V-shape inverted from the centre of the vehicle and, if at the sides, they shall be arranged in the direction of travel of the vehicle.

(d) The minimum area of the markings shall be 0,16 m2 at the front, 0,32 m2 at the rear and 0,16 m2 at the sides.
