MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

It is important to perform visual checks of the product immediately before, during and after use to ensure that it is in perfect condition and functioning properly. In addition to these routine examinations, it is recommended that the equipment be checked every six months by appropriately qualified personnel. Visually inspect the body, wheels and axles of the pulley for possible damage or failure, check that the engraving is legible and ensure that the moving parts are working properly. High temperatures, chemicals, rust, cuts and abrasions may adversely affect the characteristics of the equipment.
If safety is in doubt or if it has been used to prevent a fall, the equipment should be discontinued with immediate effect until a duly qualified person confirms in writing that its use does not involve any risk. Only the manufacturer or authorised repair representative may repair the equipment or replace parts as appropriate.
The useful life of this product varies according to its use, care and maintenance, and sometimes exceeds 10 years. Please note that if the pulley is used in harsh environments (e.g. places with dust, sand or mud), it must be inspected more frequently and its service life may be reduced.

It is mandatory to carry out a risk assessment before using the equipment and to have a contingency plan for work at high altitude. The manufacturer or supplier shall not be liable for any damage, injury or death caused by improper use of the equipment.
It is always important to ensure that all parts are compatible with the safety systems with which they are used and do not impede their proper functioning. Note that the longitude of the connector will influence that of the fall.
