LIFETIME

Inspections: the equipment must be inspected every 12 months by an authorized person or by the manufacturer. Inspections must be recorded in the inspection sheet attached to the PPE along with the instruction manual.

The maximum lifespan is 5 years from the date of first use, unless the equipment is defective or has already been used to arrest a fall, in which case it must be discarded immediately.
