EN ISO 13688:2013 A1:2021 (General Requirements): This is the "base" standard. It does not protect by itself but establishes the minimum requirements that any protective garment must meet before applying a specific standard.

Safety: The materials must not release toxic or allergenic substances (such as chromium or nickel) upon contact with the skin.

Ergonomics: The garment must be comfortable, lightweight, and allow movement without the risk of snagging.

Aging: Resistance to washing cycles, ensuring that the garment does not shrink or lose color excessively.

Labeling: Requires the inclusion of a protection pictogram, the size according to body measurements (cm), and maintenance instructions.

The EN 343 standard specifies the requirements and test methods for materials and seams of protective clothing against rain, snow, fog, and ground moisture, including wind and cold. It classifies garments from 1 to 4 (with 4 being the maximum) according to:

EN ISO 20471:2013 + A1:2016 (High Visibility)

This specific standard regulates clothing designed to visually signal the presence of the user in high-risk situations (heavy traffic, moving machinery, etc.).

It is based on the combination of two types of materials and divides garments into three classes according to the minimum visible surface:

Fluorescent Material (Day): Provides visibility in daylight and twilight conditions.
