The garments can be superimposed to achieve a certain combined value of Air Protection against Arc (VPTA) or a Umbral level of Rotary Energy (Ebt). For example, the thermal underwear can reach an Ebt level of 4,3Cal/cm2, and an external diver can get a VPTA of 13,6Cal/cm2. However, the VPTA value of the combination will be greater than the sum of the values of the individual layers, as the air space between them offers additional protection to the user.
