The epoxy adhesive 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ B/A 7260 is a high-performance two-component reinforced epoxy adhesive. This product is very durable and offers excellent adhesion to metals and thermosetting plastics.
The epoxy adhesive 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ B/A 7260 achieves extraordinary adhesion to metals and adheres well to many other surfaces even with minimal surface preparation of the materials. The product exhibits high strength, even at elevated temperatures, good weather resistance, high shear and peel strength with very high durability levels, and excellent adhesion to metallic and thermosetting surfaces.
With an open time of 300 minutes (or 90 minutes in the fast-curing version), the epoxy adhesive 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 7260 allows time to position the parts before curing. This amount of time can be chosen based on process requirements. There is also a fast-curing version available, with a non-sag flow for when it needs to be applied on vertical surfaces.
