Emergency luminous signal with sound alert. Size to choose.
Emergency signal Sound alert, with text and pictogram COFAN. The sign is used to indicate the existence of a sound alert to be activated in case of emergency. The sound alert is used as an element of the fire alarm system. It is an audible, visible notification that can have visual stimuli to alert the occupants of a building of a fire or other type of emergency.
The emergency sign is made on a luminous sheet (after absorbing light, the product emits it in the dark, so it does not need any electrical source and the product can be charged an indefinite number of times).
This type of signs are installed in different types of industries as a measure of alert and safety, fulfilling the function of keeping users and workers informed about emergency actions.
In this sense, this type of signs can be found in public buildings, such as government offices, schools, hospitals, factories, shopping centers, and other places where an audible alert is required in case of an emergency or critical situation.

REGULATIONS
The UNE 23035-4 standard from December 2003 requires signs to meet certain qualities of light intensity and resistance to pigment attenuation. Both the inks and the photoluminescent PVC used in the production of our signs fully comply with this standard. Since safety signage can help save lives and is mandatory, use the best possible signage. Usage Recommendations: Minimum sizes to be used based on meters.
STORAGE, CLEANING, AND MAINTENANCE
The working temperature should not exceed 45º C. Higher temperatures may deform the support material.
The optimal storage temperature will be between 15º C and 25º C; and with a humidity of 10/50%.
Cleaning methods; avoid applying abrasive products. It is recommended to clean them with water and neutral detergents.
The technical building code – Basic document on fire safety requires that photoluminescent signage must comply with the UNE 23035 standard.
In order to maintain the functionality for which the signaling systems have been conceived, SEKURECO recommends keeping the signs free of dust, dirt, or any residue or object that may hinder their visibility and identification.
For cleaning, it is advisable to use soapy solutions preferably, avoiding the use of solvents or abrasive products that may damage the surface of the sign.
Photoluminescent signs should be placed in such a way that they receive energy from a natural or artificial light source to ensure their proper functioning.
According to RD 513/2017 (TABLE III), luminous signaling systems must undergo an annual inspection/review to be carried out by specialized personnel from the manufacturer, a maintenance company, or by the user or owner personnel of the installation.
Once the useful life period of the signs that make up the signaling system has elapsed, the inspection of these elements will be carried out following the indications collected in RD 513/2017 and UNE 23035-2
SIGN INSTALLATION
Check our blog to learn how to install a sign or poster: https://www.sekureco.eu/blog/76_consejos-de-instalacion-de-senales-de-seguridad.html
The RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION HEIGHT ranges from 2 to 2.50 meters, always maintaining a separation distance of 0.30 meters from the ceiling.
Photoluminescent signs should be placed in such a way that they receive energy from a natural or artificial light source to ensure their proper functioning.
The FIXING of the signaling element must be done on a firm surface and free of dirt.
The sign can be secured using MECHANICAL ELEMENTS (screws, rivets, etc...) or ADHESIVES (mounting adhesive, glues, silicones…) carefully, avoiding soiling the visible surface or deforming it.
The EVACUATION signage should be installed in such a way that from any point likely to be occupied in the premises, an evacuation can be initiated, so it is recommended to install directional signs on all routes, intersections, stairs, etc. that serve as a path.
The signage on DOORS will be placed above the lintel with the appropriate label (“EXIT”, “EMERGENCY EXIT”, “NO EXIT”, ...).
The signage for FIRE protection, rescue, and/or assistance will be carried out on the same elements to be signaled whenever possible.
