AND CONSERVATION

The working temperature should not exceed 45o C. Higher temperatures can deform the supporting material.

The optimal storage temperature will be between 15o C and 25o C; and with a humidity of 10/50%.

Cleaning methods; avoid applying abrasive products. Clean them with neutral water and detergents is recommended.

The technical building code – Basic fire safety document requires that photoluminiscent signaling must comply with UNE 23035.

With the aim of preserving the functionality for which signaling systems have been conceived, SEKURECO recommends keeping signs free of dust, dirt or any other or object that prevents the visibility and identification of them.

For its cleaning, it is advisable to use soap solutions preferably, avoiding the use of solvents or abrasive products that may deteriorate the surface of the signal.

Photoluminescent signals should be placed in such a way that they receive the energy of a natural or artificial light source to ensure their proper functioning.

According to the RD 513/2017 (TABLA III), the luminiscent signaling systems must be subject to an annual inspection/revision that will be carried out by specialized manufacturer staff, a maintenance company, or by the user or owner of the installation.

After the period of life of the signals that make up the signaling system has passed, the inspection of these elements will be carried out following the indications collected in the RD 513/2017 and the UNE 23035-2

The recommended INSTALATION ALTURA ranges between 2 and 2.50 meters, always maintaining a separation distance of 0.30 meters from the ceiling.

The signaling in PUERTAS will be placed on the lintel of it with the appropriate label (“SALIDA”, “SALIDA DE EMERGENCIA”, WITHOUT SALIDA”, ...).

The signaling of fire protection, rescue and/or relief measures will be made on the same elements to signal whenever possible.
