Filter for gases and vapors 6051i ESLI A1 (2 filters) 3M Class and Class 2. The filters for organic gases and vapors 3M™ 6051 fit any reusable full mask 3M™ with a bayonet connection and are designed to optimize the field of vision. Our filters provide lightweight and balanced respiratory protection for hazardous environments.

These A1 organic gas and vapor filters have all the features found in standard gas and vapor filters from 3M in addition to a 3M service life indicator.

If you need A1 respiratory protection against organic gases and vapors (with a boiling point above 65 °C), use the organic gas and vapor filters 3M™ 6051. These filters have brown labels, color-coded according to the EN14387 classification system, to indicate the type of protection they offer. These lightweight filters combine protection with comfort and are compatible with our range of half masks and full masks, allowing safe work in hazardous environments. They offer low breathing resistance and a good balance when fitted to the mask, and are designed to optimize the field of vision. They attach quickly and easily and can be used with any reusable 3M™ mask with a bayonet connection. They can also be used in combination with 3M™ particulate filters and 3M™ 501 particulate filter retainers.

FILTER DURABILITY

The filters used in industrial environments have a lifespan that depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time… and should be replaced when breathing resistance is noticed or if odor or taste of the contaminant being exposed to is perceived. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot accurately indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the lifespan of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use unless one of the reasons for replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has occurred. (The lifespan of an unopened chemical filter is usually indicated on its label. Once the filter is opened, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
