These A2 organic gas and vapor filters have all the features found in standard gas and vapor filters from 3M, in addition to a service life indicator from 3M.

FILTER DURABILITY

The filters used in industrial environments have a service life that depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminants in the environment, temperature, usage time, etc., and should be replaced when resistance to breathing is noticed or when odor or taste of the contaminant being exposed to is perceived. Given the variety of work environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot accurately indicate the durability of the filters.

Generally, the service life of the filters is 5 years from manufacturing, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use if one of the reasons for replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has not been met. (The life of an unopened chemical filter is normally indicated on its label. Once the filter is unsealed, even if not used, it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiration date indicated).
