The protective garment 3M™ 4520 is designed to offer multiple layers of SMMMS, robustness and effective resistance at a light weight of just 43 g/m². Thanks to its excellent breathability and softness, with a fabric-like feel, it can be worn comfortably for long periods and protects against static discharge, hazardous particles and type 5/6 liquid splashes.

Use protective clothing 3M™ 4520 for protection against dirt, splashes and toxic dust, including nuclear particles. Meets various standards for chemical protective clothing, including EN 1149 antistatic properties, EN 1073-2 resistance against radioactive particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 liquid splash type 6 and EN ISO 13982-1 airborne solid particles type 5. You can easily identify it by the green triangle, which is made of the same 43 g/m² SMMMS as the rest. This protective garment is designed to reduce weight and maintain performance by adding multiple layers. It is made of SMMMS, which is a layer of direct spun yarn on the inside and outside and 3 layers of melt-blown and extruded material in the middle. Direct-spun material offers softness, strength and splash protection, while layers of melt-blown and extruded material provide an intricate network of multiple layers of microfibers that filter out dry particles. The soft, breathable and very lightweight non-woven material facilitates the release of heat and moisture from the body and improves comfort during prolonged use to increase productivity in the workplace. Value design with a 3-panel hood that works well with other PPE, soft knit cuffs for comfortable and secure placement on the arms and a two-way zipper, waist and ankles for easy removal and improved fit and security. Offers antistatic performance to EN 1149 to minimize discharge and the risk of sparks and ignition. The protective garment 3M 4520 is suitable for particle-based applications, such as pharmaceutical processes and toxic dust handling.
