APPLICATIONS

Class A anchorage connector: automatically locking connector. It is used as a component to directly engage a specific type of anchorage.

In order to reduce the possibility of unintentional opening, with the associated danger, hooks, as well as muskets, they shall have automatic closing and automatic or manual locking and shall be released only by the user performing at least two consecutive manual actions voluntarily. However, it should be borne in mind that when using hand-locking hooks they should only be used in cases where the worker does not have to connect and remove the hook repeatedly during the working day.

The Hook Ø 110 mm aluminium with double safety automatic closure AZ024 it is made of aluminium and has dimensions of 360 x 165 mm and a weight of 950 grams. Its aperture is 100 mm, it has a minimum static resistance of 20 Kn and it complies with EN 362, being an element suitable for large metal pipes or beams.

LIFETIME

Reviews: The equipment must be reviewed every 12 months by an authorised person or by the manufacturer. Inspections shall be recorded on the review sheet attached to the PPE together with the instruction manual.

The maximum lifetime is 5 years from the date of first use, unless the equipment is defective or has already been used to stop a fall, in which case it must be discarded immediately.

Cleaning: clean with soap and water not above 30oC. Don't dry in the heat. Grease the visages and opening levers occasionally after washing.
