FFP2 NR D 9922 face mask with valve for organic vapors below OEL and ozone 3M. It provides lightweight, effective, comfortable, and hygienic respiratory protection against dust particles, mists, and ozone.

Additionally, it offers extra protection against low concentrations of organic vapors.

The special 3MTM 9922 mask offers lightweight, effective respiratory protection, comfortable and hygienic against solid dust particles, non-volatile liquid particles, and metal gases. This special mask additionally provides respiratory protection against ozone and relief from unpleasant odors.

APPLICATIONS

These masks are suitable for use in maximum concentrations of non-volatile solid and liquid particles (gases and vapors, ozone, and unpleasant odors).

PLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

See Figure

1. Hold the mask with one hand with the nasal piece in the fingertips, letting the adjustment bands hang freely below the hand.

2. Place the mask below the chin, with the nasal clip facing up.

3. Place the upper adjustment band on the crown and the lower one on the neck, below the ears.

4. The bands should not be twisted.

5. Using both hands, mold the nasal clip around the nose (bottom) to ensure a good fit and seal. Molding the clip with one hand may result in a less effective fit.

6. Check the fit before entering the contaminated area.

NORMATIVE

These products meet the requirements of the European standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, self-filtering masks for particles. These masks provide protection against solid and non-volatile liquid particles. These products are classified according to their filtration efficiency and inward leakage value (FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3), as well as their usage time and saturation resistance. The tests included in this standard cover filter penetration, tests after storage, flammability, breathing resistance, and inward leakage.

Reusable masks must also reflect care instructions and mandatory tests for behavior after storage and saturation (the saturation test is optional for disposable masks). You can purchase a copy of the EN 149:2001 +A1:2009 standard through AENOR. Designation: R = Reusable NR = Non-reusable D = Passes the saturation test.

APPROVALS

These products meet the requirements of the European Directive 89/686/EEC, Personal Protective Equipment Directive (in Spain, R.D. 1407/1992) and therefore have CE marking. Certification under Article 10, CE type examination, and Article 11, CE quality control, has been issued by BSI Product Services, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4SQ, Great Britain (Notified Body number 0086).
