Protect yourself against dangerous dust and fumes with 3MTM Particle masks of the 8000 series. Our sturdy bowl-shaped masks offer FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 protection, and feature a soft, padded lining for long-lasting comfort throughout the work shift. They have a lightweight two-strap design, with nose clip, soft edge (in the area in contact with the face) and nose foam that help to fit it on a wide variety of faces. 3M Electret advanced filtration medium (AEM) helps users breathe easily and part of the range is available with the valve 3MTM Cool FlowTM, which reduces heat buildup for users working in hot and humid conditions.

The colour-coded braided bands identify the level of protection offered: yellow for red for FFP3 (nominal protection factor 50). They are designed to fit perfectly into the eye and hearing protection products of 3M.

REGULATORY

These products comply with the requirements of the recently amended European Standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 for filter facial respirators for use against particulate matter. They should be used to protect the user from non-volatile solid and liquid particles only. The products are classified according to filtration efficiency and maximum total inward leakage performance (FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3), also by ease of use and resistance to obstruction. Performance tests in this standard include filter penetration; prolonged exposure (load) test; flammability; breathability and total leakage inward. Reusable products are also subject to mandatory cleaning, storage and clog resistance tests (clogging is optional for non-reusable products). You can obtain a complete copy of EN 149:2001+A1:2009 from your national standardisation body. Designations: R = Reusable NR = Not reusable (only for single shift use) D = Meets the requirements for resistance to clogging.
