The Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning disc is a non-woven and durable disc for use as the first step in cleaning, homogenizing, deburring, and finishing. Our discs provide good performance on contoured or uneven surfaces without reducing or damaging the base material.

For a higher cut rate and greater durability compared to aluminum oxide abrasives, use the Light Grinding & Blending Scotch-Brite™ disc. Our discs use a ceramic grain for moderate material removal, optimal finishing, and grinding or homogenizing welds, effectively refining scratches of grit 36 or finer. They can also be used to prepare surfaces for painting, avoiding the need for an additional dual-action sanding step before applying a minimum thickness paint of 3 mil.
