CHARACTERISTICS

The 3MTM 9922 special mask offers lightness, effective, comfortable and hygienic respiratory protection against solid powdered particles, non -volatile liquid particles and metal gases. This special mask provides additional respiratory protection against ozone, in addition to providing relief against annoying odors.

APPLICATIONS

These masks are suitable for use at maximum concentrations of non-volatile solid and liquid particles (gases and vapors, ozone and nuisance odors)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

See Figure

1. Hold the mask in one hand with the nose piece on your fingertips, letting the adjustment bands hang freely below your hand.

2. Place the mask below your chin, with the nose clip facing up.

3. Place the upper adjustment band on the crown of your head and the lower adjustment band on your neck, below your ears.

4. The bands should not be twisted.

5. Using both hands, mold the nose clip around your nose (bottom) to ensure a good fit and seal. Shaping the clip with one hand may result in a less effective fit.

6. Check the fit before entering the contaminated area.

NORMATIVE

These products meet the requirements of the European standard EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, self-filtering masks for particles. These masks offer protection against solid and non-volatile liquid particles. These products are classified according to their filtration efficiency and their inward leakage value (FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3), also according to their use time and resistance to saturation. The tests included in this standard include filter penetration, tests after storage, flammability, breathing resistance and internal leakage.

Reusable masks should also reflect care instructions and mandatory behavioral tests after storage and saturation (the saturation test is optional for disposable masks). You can acquire a copy of the standard in 149: 2001 A1: 2009 through AENOR. Designation: R = Reusable nr = non -reusable d = meets the saturation test

APPROVALS

These products meet the requirements of European Directive 89/686/CEE, Personal Protective Equipment Directive (in Spain, R.D. 1407/1992) and therefore, they have CE marking. Certification under Article 10, EC Type Examination and Article 11, EC Quality Control, and has been issued by BSI Product Services, Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4SQ, Great Britain (Notified Body number 0086).
